ABOUT US

|
The Chicago Kickers Soccer Club was
established in 1958. The club was originally based in
Chicago on Irving Park Road. The club was reorganized and
moved to the American Aid Society in Lake Villa where a
Clubhouse, Patio and two Championship Soccer Fields were
opened in 2005.
The Kickers are a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to
promoting soccer for youth and adult players of both
genders.
Our Youth program teams compete in the Young Sportsman's
Soccer League, Northern Illinois Soccer League and Illinois
Women's Soccer League. Youth teams also compete in various
tournaments and indoor leagues.
Our youth teams are coached by experienced players and
coaches and trained by Chicago Fire players. We feel that
the coaching and training provided is of the highest quality
and provides a solid foundation for player development.
The Men's First Team competes in the Metropolitan Soccer
League. The Men's Over 30 & 40 Teams compete in the
Tri-County Soccer League and Men's and Women's under 23
Teams compete in ISSA Managed Summer Leagues.
Many of our players have gone on to collegiate, adult
amatuer and professional soccer careers. MLS veterans Frank
Klopas, Brian McBride, Dave Dir, Mark Simpson, and Tommy
Soehn have all worn Kicker's Red & White. Kicker great Adolf
Bachmeier, who captained the US National team in 1970, was
inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2002.
Our Adult teams have won League, State, Regional and
National Amateur Championships (1966, 1968, 1970, 1975). Our
youth teams have also won many league, tournament, state and
regional championships.
